It’s the Rollright Stones in Oxfordshire, these are the whispering knights conspiring to topple the king – but the kingstone is over the road, as he was turned to stone trying to see Long Crendon – he wasn’t wise to upset that witch! There is also a stone circle whose number of stones it is allegedly impossible to count. It’s a lovely place, not much visited.

I’m guessing near Avebury? I may be well off but certainly old granite stones and too beautifully fenced for Cornwall!

Long Crendon in Oxfordshire – very quiet spot and very beautiful, full of legend but not as well known as Avebury or Stonehenge.

Are these standing stones? We visited Stonehenge this year and absolutely loved it.

These are the whispering knights, part of the Rollright Stones. They really do look like they are conspiring to topple the king.
