So I am at the end of my 30 day blogging challenge, and it has been great fun from the beginning. Though it has taken me a while longer than 30 straight days to complete, it’s modular nature means that I have picked up and dropped off as I’ve needed to, and the challenge has still worked as a great motivational and involving prompt to kick start my blogging from zero to regular cotributions on a weekly basis.
- Nikki Pilkington is a great teacher, offering a practical direct approach which is clear and easy to follow.
- The tips and tricks Nikki offers are immediately helpful, and there are some great ideas on how to vary and add interest to your posts to engage and increase your readership.
- Structure and planning your blog posts is good, as is varying the type of blogs on a theme.
- Getting involved with other blogs and bloggers will improve your skills, extend your online reach, and make you new contacts – from guest posts through to commenting on other blogs.
- There has been a high level of sign up, and support from other bloggers on the same challenge has been great, with a real sense of community and new contacts that continues.
- The challenge has given me the momentum I needed to push me to blog regularly and with interest and impact to an increasing audience.
With the amount I have learned from the challenge, I feel confident about continuing on the same road and improving and extending this blog over time, with some clear principles and ideas in mind to guide future progress.
Please stay around and see how this develops, you can subscribe top right to the blog and stay updated.
