If you’ve been a regular reader of this blog, you may remember that it started out almost a year ago now, prompted by Nikki Pilkington’s 30 Day Blogging Challenge.
Almost a year on and the blog is going well for the time I have spent on it, and Nikki offered great support, a kickstart, pointed out the key issues to address in setting up, and gave me the tools and enthusiasm to keep my momentum going over the year.
During the last year Nikki has released a series of further challenges, either solo or in collaboration, covering various aspects of social media and online business – see the full list on the 30 Day Challenges website.
I have recently tried the 30 Day Twitter challenge, and can strongly recommend it here for anyone interested in extending their reach and developing their potential client and business network on Twitter.
As with all the challenges, Nikki offers an easy-to-follow, no-nonsense approach that packages up work into daily snippets that for a small amount of effort each day can get you the results you are looking for.
Covering issues from how to gain more (and more relevant) followers, how to find people looking for your products or services, how to tweet effectively, how to create content that will be more interactive, and how to promote your website or blog without being too heavy-handed, the course will, in bite-size chunks, guide you into improving your engagement on Twitter.
Although I have been using Twitter for some time now, there were lots of tips and tricks in how to improve, from the basics of keeping your profile fresh, findable and engaging, through prospecting to recommendations and time-saving hints.
In an environment which changes so quickly, it is great to have such an adaptable and immediate support guide, and I have seen real improvements with my Twitter engagement as I have gone through the advice and implemented the ones I have felt would help my own situation.
As each of the challenges offers a support group where you can engage with fellow followers, the 30 Day Challenge package is a very immediate and responsive environment in which to hone your Twitter skills. Nikki offers genuine and authentic support to people who take up her challenges, and she offers sound practical advice of real value.
If your social media needs a good kickstart, you like to work at your own speed and have a guided approach to your efforts, you would do well to check out Nikki’s challenges – you should start to see improved results very quickly.
